February, 1999:  Ms. Adele Conover writes about her adventures in Smithsonian Magazine, in her story titled "To Save A Falcon - the Saker Falcon in Outer Mongolia".

Ms. Conover’s article chronicles field research by Dr. David H. Ellis of the U.S. Department of Interior U.S.G.S., who is also the Chairman of U.C.R.'s Science Advisory Board.  U.C.R. sponsors Dr. Ellis's important fieldwork, including his precedent-setting falcon 'nest-site enhancement program'.

Smithsonian Magazine accompanies Dr. Ellis in his adventure across the wild steppes of Outer Mongolia, in company with the modern descendants of Chiinges Khaan.
